Kate Rogers began her music studies on the piano at the age of five and on the harp at the age of eleven.  She holds a degree in harp performance from the prestigious Curtis Institute of Music, and is the recipient of many awards, including first place in the National Symphony Young Soloist's Competition, first place in the Loeb Awards and first place in the Anne Adams Awards. She is the principal harpist with the American Pops Orchestra and Wolf Trap Opera Orchestra and has performed as a featured soloist with the National Symphony, the Fairfax Symphony, the Amadeus Orchestra and in a specially commissioned arrangement of "The Way We Were" with the American Pops Orchestra.

Ms. Rogers was the harpist for the Four Seasons Hotel for afternoon tea, a position which greatly increased her repertoire of popular tunes. She enjoys adding the unique ambiance of harp music to special events and can play in many styles, including classical, pop, jazz and folk. Ms. Rogers has performed for hundreds of weddings and frequently appears at the Kennedy Center and at venues such as Constitution Hall, The Capitol, The National Gallery of Art, Wolf Trap, the Warner Theatre, the Shakespeare Theatre and Strathmore.

An award-winning harpist, Kate Rogers holds a degree in harp performance from the Curtis Institute of Music and is in demand in the Nashville area for recording sessions, concerts and private events. She relocated to Nashville in 2020 after living in the Washington, D.C. area for many years. There she was the principal harpist with the American Pops Orchestra, the Fairfax Symphony, Arena Stage and Wolf Trap. Kate has performed for presidents and dignitaries and has been seen on every stage at the Kennedy Center,  as well as at Carnegie Hall, Constitution Hall and the U.S. Capitol.

Kate enjoys adding the unique ambiance of harp music to special events and can play in many styles, including classical, pop, jazz and folk.

Kate has collaborated with such diverse artists as Bobby McFerrin, Joshua Bell, Elvis Costello, Renee Fleming, Laura Osnes, Garrison Keillor, Brian Stokes Mitchell, Kate Baldwin, Barry Manilow, Lea Salonga, Darren Criss, Amy Grant, Michael W. Smith, The Who, Josh Groban, Nas, Rhonda Vincent, Natalie Grant, Brett Young and many others. As an orchestral musician, Kate has performed with many symphonies and ensembles, including the National Symphony, the Baltimore Symphony, the St. Louis Symphony, the Richmond Symphony, the Mid-Atlantic Symphony, the Chesapeake Symphony, the Maryland Symphony, the Washington Chorus, the Philadelphia Singers, the American Ballet and at Arena Stage in The Fantasticks, A Light in the Piazza and My Fair Lady. Kate was privileged to be principal harp in the final run of The Nutcracker performed by the Washington Ballet with a live orchestra.
